Thank you so much for supporting me and the brands that I love!
I’ve talked a lot about the fact that when we built our house, we spent most of our “upgrade” budget on things that would be a pain to do later (adding windows, moving electrical, parking pad, etc) leaving all cosmetic upgrades to be done later. We hadn’t planned on tackling so many projects and renovations, but then Covid and quarantine happened, and here we are. 😆
I’ll add some photos of what our kitchen looked like before-hand. It wasn’t terrible, but it was boring in every sense of the word. It had just a 3 inch granite piece as backsplash, no cabinet hardware, a plain jane faucet and lighting fixtures, and no color anywhere.
Our living, dining, and kitchen are all one open space so we added some black pulls to tie in the fireplace across the room. Then, because I LOVE mixing metals and have a hardcore love for brass, I added a brass faucet (which I love more than I thought I even could) and these STUNNING Mitzi pendants. They give me all the boho vibes I adore and totally go with the aesthetic of the rest of my home. To say I’m obsessed would be an understatement. 😍
The backsplash was a no brainer, really. I’ve been looking at Bedrosians Tile for over a year since we started building our home and knew that the moroccan handmade tile vibe was exactly what I was going for. Our granite is a little busy so I went with the cloe in white so it flowed. What I love about this tile is the color variation. It’s truly stunning and since we love it SO much, we even installed the same exact tile on our fireplace. You can see that here. Bedrosians has the most beautiful tile at an affordable price, in so many different colors. Highly recommend checking them out for your next tiling project!
Arguably my favorite part of the kitchen is my rug from Revival Rugs. 😍 If you’ve been around a while, you know my love for rugs runs deep. I honestly think it is THE piece in a room to tie an entire space together. My favorite rugs especially for kitchens are vintage rugs. Low pile, vintage rugs are perfect for high traffic areas because they actually look better with wear and usually have beautiful patterns to hide mess. My kitchen is very white, which I love because it’s a smaller space, but we needed some color in here and this rug brings in the perfect amount. Revival Rugs is hands down my favorite place for vintage rugs, they hand pick and clean all of their rugs to vintage perfection and they are so much more affordable than some other vintage rug companies.
